"Song of Songs" was born from Evgeniya Maltseva’s personal life experiences and hardships. Though the title of the project was directly inspired by one of The Five Megillot (scrolls from the Hebrew Bible), Maltseva managed to transplant the very essence of ancient wisdom into the present-day awkward reality. The main focus is on the inner turmoil and personal drama of the artist who dwells on the emotional connection and love between a man and a woman as the fundamental basis of interhuman relationships.
