What is a dance for you? A form of performing arts, a way of expressing your emotions, or just a rhythmic exercise? All answers are valid because dancing is a surprisingly useful and manifold activity for both adults and children. The latter group especially benefits from a dance routine. If you agree, you might well like the idea of the upcoming BALLROOM BASIX 10th Annual Gala, a charity dance show that will be held on November 7, 2021.
BALLROOM BASIX’s charity dance show to be held on November 7
Have you ever heard of non-competitive dancing? It is a trailblazing arts-in-education initiative by BALLROOM BASIX, an NYC-based organization destined to help children unite and learn about themselves and the world around them through dance. Under the tutelage of teachers and instructors, kids get comprehensive physical, social, emotional, and cultural development while learning the movements of Ballroom & Latin dance.
Every year, BALLROOM BASIX holds a charity dance show to provide children and their parents with an unforgettable experience. This time, the organization will celebrate the 10th Annual Gala at the Edison Ballroom. The start of the event is scheduled for 3 pm, with the endpoint at 7 pm. Such an extravaganza will be happening to the accompaniment of Joe Battaglia & the New York Big Band.
A short time later, from 8 to 12 pm, organizers are planning one more non-competitive show – the night of Argentine Tango, a unique chance to feel the elegance and passion of Argentine Tango this fall.
The tickets for the 10th Annual Gala are available online and at the door. Please be aware that only fully vaccinated dancers will be able to visit the upcoming charity dance show, so you will be required to show proof of vaccination. The proceeds from the show will be provided to help students and their families recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
You do not want to miss such an incredible show!
