“Glitch Art: Pixel Language” Closes with 3 New Glitch Video Art Pieces

The 11-week run of “Glitch Art: Pixel Language,” an innovative art exhibition organized by Platform 101 and hosted by the Tehran-based Bavan Gallery, is drawing to a close. The show that first opened its doors on December 25 will end on March 12 with this week’s amazing presentation of three new glitch video art pieces by the artist Reza Famori and exhibition’s curators Sadeq Majlesipour and Mohammad Ali Famori.

Glitch video art at “Glitch Art: Pixel Language” exhibition

Glitch Art: Pixel Language” is a one-of-a-kind art project started by Platform 101, an Iranian artistic institution supporting young and emerging artists, in partnership with Famori Studio and ArtResearcher. Featuring 27 glitch artists from around the world, the exhibition has presented 35 glitch video art pieces showcased to the public at Bavan Gallery in Tehran. Starting from December, each week of the show has been marked by a fabulous presentation of works by two talented artists participating in the event, but the last one deserves particular attention.

This week, Platform 101 and Bavan Gallery have presented new works by the exhibition’s curators Sadeq Majlesipour and Mohammad Ali Famori. Sadeq Majlesipour is a pioneer glitch artist in Iran, the one who has had the first personal exhibition dedicated to glitch art in the country. Mohammad Ali Famori, in his turn, is an award-winning international artist whose works have been exhibited worldwide. The closing of “Glitch Art: Pixel Language” is also marked by the presentation of a new glitch video art piece by the professional art director and photographer Reza Famori.

The list of all artists participating in the exhibition includes Sadeq Majlesipour, Mohammad Ali Famori, Reza Famori,  Sabato Vissconti,  Hossein Pouresmeil, Neda Dastafkan, Vahid Qaderi, Francesco Corvi, Diyu Fang, Franco Palioff, Abarca, Nima Mansoury, Shalala Salamzadeh, Golnaz Behrouznia, Sina Kiadaliri,  Parnian Donyari, Arash Masoom,  Nikzad Arabshahi,   Elnaz Mohammadi, Erfan Ashourian, Suture, Parisa Pakzamir, Razieh Kooshki, Nazila Karimi, Shahab Shahali,  Behrouz Farahani, and Arezou Ramezani. The featured musician artist of “Glitch Art: Pixel Language” is Farbod Hamedi.
