I am a self-proclaimed watch connoisseur. Roger Dubuis is a favorite watchmaker of mine. He constantly creates outstanding pieces that aren’t entirely over the top. The Sympathie really stood out to me when I first saw it online. It has a masculine look to it yet is still modern, artistic, and stylish. I already have several dress watches and usually go for a black-out color scheme. The numerals on the Sympathie drew me in. They are a polished black color and have an abstract look to them. The chunky dial hands are something I haven’t seen done very much in the watch industry. When I found out they were made of white gold and the dial was made of mother of pearl I was beside myself. This is a fine luxury watch if you’re looking for something different to add to your collection. It has gained me a lot of attention. It’s a bit on the larger size at 43mm but fits comfortably on me. I also enjoy the skeleton window on the back. Transparent back casing is something I look for in watches. It always astounds me to see the movement in this watch. The Sympathie wristwatch is a superior watch that I consider a great buy.
