The featured painting was created in 1825 and holds a “F. Kinson” signature in the lower left corner. It depicts a mother with her three children, positioned against the Neoclassical interior background.
Lot #1: Sigmund Joseph Menkes, Dancer and Clown, Oil on Canvas

Sigmund Joseph Menkes was a Polish-Jewish Expressionist painter who emigrated to the US in 1935. His oil painting offered for bidding is 27.75″ x 24″ and comes in a wooden frame. The work is signed in the upper right corner.
Lot #10: Erte, Diva, Patinated Bronze Sculpture

Erte was an artistic pseudonym of Romain de Tirtoff, a notable Russian-French artist of the 20th century. His “Diva” represents a gilt and patinated bronze sculpture, created in 1984, signed and stamped in cast to the base. This Art Deco-style art piece comes from an Upper East Side collection.
