Citizen Campanola Grand Complication
Citizen is a luxury Japanese watch manufacturer that graces the shelves at major retailers, including Macys, worldwide. Citizen is an entry-level luxury brand that suits the needs of men and women who need a high-quality wristwatch at a reasonable price. Citizen’s collections are usually geared towards sports. Recently the brand has unleashed their Campanola Grand Complication wristwatch.
The Campanola Grand Complication is a more dressy watch that mimics the style of higher-end brands. It is part of Citizen’s Grand Complication Collection. The Campanola is of particular interest because of how different it is from the other models in the collection. Firstly, each watch is hand-made, meaning it is put together by hand and many of the components are made by hand. The Campanola wristwatch features time indication, full perpetual calendar with leap years, 12-hour chronograph, moonphase indicator, and a chime mechanism. This is a fantastic lineup for one watch. In order to make it affordable, Citizen put a high-quality quartz movement in this piece.
The Campanola isn’t short on looks. This is a handsome wristwatch with a whimsical style. The case is an oval bubble style similar to Corum’s signature casing. Large, silver hour numerals in a quaint font grace the black dial. Three subdials are apparent at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. The Moonphase indicator rests under 12 o’clock with an illustration of a sleepy moon surrounded by stars. This lovely watch is pulled together by brown leather alligator straps.
Unfortunately it will be difficult to get your hands on a Citizen Campanola Grand Complication wristwatch. As you can imagine, a watch with that many functions in the low-luxury price range would go fast. Fortunately it is highly sought out and collectible and would make an excellent addition to any collection should you be lucky enough to purchase one.
