Aerowatch Automatic 1942 Watch

Aerowatch Automatic 1942 Watch

Aerowatch is a family-owned Swiss luxury wristwatch and pocket watch company. It has been in business since 1910 and has remained a popular choice for many locals in the Jura mountain region of Switzerland. Aerowatch specializes in creating high-quality pocket watches and pendants. It wasn’t until 2004 that the brand decided to begin creating wristwatches. With a firm dedication to traditional watchmaking and vintage timepieces, Aerowatch implements hand-wound and self-winding movements into all of their wristwatches.

A perfect example of Aerowatch’s dedication to classic elements is found in their Automatic 1942 men’s wristwatch. This is a luxurious and classic timepiece that is sure to become a staple in your collection. It is offered in many different color and material choices. Today we will be focusing on the 60900 C101 model. This piece has a round, circular dial and is available in the following materials: steel, pink-gold, and yellow-gold. The dome sapphire crystal cover provides excellent readability in all lighting conditions. The dial is the highlight of this watch, as it should be. Large, black Roman numerals represent all of the hours and are hand painted onto the Guilloche silver dial. A small date window is located above the 6 o’clock hour.

Classic blue dial hands add a bit of color to this piece. The Automatic 1942 60900 C101 wristwatch is powered by the self-winding 11 ½ ETA 2824 movement with 25 jewels. The rhodium plated case back shows the Côtes de Genève decorated movement. Brown leather straps with side stitching pull the elegance of this piece together.  Aerowatch creates classic and stunning Swiss wristwatches at low-luxury prices.
