Chronoswiss is the German watch production company, based in Karlsfeld. This business project was established by Gerd R. Lang in 1983. This man dreamed to create the most unusual mechanical watch. For that moment Lang had a solid experience in production of movements for other famous brands. In the late eighties Chronoswiss was one of the first watch making companies that supported a protest against invasion of electronic models. Since then the brand makes only mechanical watches and very much is proud of it.

Today, Chronoswiss produces only exclusive luxury watches. It provides about 7000 watches in a year. Though Chronoswiss is a German company, each component of its watches are actually made in Switzerland, and then the watch entity is manually assembled. Now, the Chronoswiss’s watch spectrum includes some longterm collections, each of them has its own unique features, but they all are integrated in the mainframe of magnificent design, accuracy, exclusivity and luxury.

This Chronoswiss Opus (model number is CH7523) is amazing men’s wrist watch. Its fluted crown, case, two chronograph’s buttons, lugs and fluted bezel are made of the polished stainless steel. The convex sapphire crystal with an antiglare cover protects the silver dial. Screw down stainless steel case back has a sapphire crystal window. The accurate automatic Chronoswiss calibre C.741 ( that is based on Valjoux Calibre 7750) is visible through it. The Chronoswiss Opus is certified by C.O.S.C.

This wrist watch has amazing classical design. Silver toned dial features a textured center. Large black numeral markers are supplemented with small black circular and lined markers on the dial’s border. Hour, minute, and second Breguet Losange hands are made of blued steel. This luxury watch is chronograph, that means additional subdials presence – four subdials are placed at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions. A month day indicator is presented at 3 o’clock, 12 hour counter is at 6 o’clock, subsidiary seconds dial is positioned at 9 o’clock and 30 minute counter is at 12 o’clock. The black alligator leather strap with steel tang clasp will keep this Chronoswiss Opus on a wrist up to 8.25 inches.
