Swiss watchmaker Corum’s latest creation was made with business travelers and adventure lovers in mind. The Admiral’s Cup Challenger 48 Day and Night wrist watch is sporty yet incredibly elegant and masculine. It is available in black or white, which represents day or night. It is also extremely user-friendly and easy to read.

The Admiral’s Cup Challenger 48 Day and Night has a sturdy, thick case made out of grade 5 titanium. Its exact measurements are 48 mm in diameter and 15.05 mm thick. Thee octagon like shape of the case is a 12 sided bezel coated with vulcanized rubber. The sides are also coated in black vulcanized rubber to protect the casing and the screw down crown. Sapphire crystal was used to making the casing which is famous for its glare proof amenities as well as its ability to hide blemishes on the case. Water fans will also be delighted to know that this wristwatch can withstand up to 300 meters (1,000 feet) of water.

When you first see this watch you will instantly notice the earth on the dial. If you look closer you’ll that it is divided into 24 time zone sections and that it is set on a rotating disc. The disc serves two purposes. It can indicate a second time zone with a small white arrow. This is useful for people who travel frequently and like to be up to date on the time in other places such as their home country or to see what time it is in the place they are traveling to. The second incredibly unique function of this disc is that it shows how much of the world is still in say and how much is in night. When the white indicator reaches to the GMT point, the half-toned dial will actually illuminate the portion of the earth that is still in daytime and the portion of the earth that is in nighttime will be darker.

The Corum Admiral’s Cup Challenger 48 Day and Night is powered with the caliber CO 171 mechanical movement. The 24 jewels mechanism provides full 46 hours of power reserve. The back of the casing is transparent so you can watch and admire your watches inner mechanics. Corum also used a black rubber strap for ultimate comfort.
