The Girard Perregaux watch brand has a long history. Young watchmaker Jean-François Bautte created his first watch model in 1791. Soon Jean-François Bautte organized his own workshop that began to produce watches for the most prestigious clients, including the future British Queen Victoria. More than two centuries later, that workshop turned into a large manufactory that continues to prosper.

The ww.tc (abbreviation for world-wide time control), designed by Girard-Perregaux in 2000, now is a recognised collection of the company. All the watch models have the “world times” function that provides display of all  the time zones in the world on watch dial. The ww.tc is replenished with new models every year. Today it includes wrist watch solution with a power reserve indicator, the “Financial” function and a perpetual calendar.

It is 100% authentic Swiss watch that was created in accordance with oldest watchmaking culture of Europe, combined with the most modern outlook. The watch case, lugs, chronograph’s buttons and crown are made of platinum. A deployment clasp on the black alligator leather strap is also made of the same material. Bright white elements are allocated on the black dial: names of the cities on a periphery ring, the Arab numeral markers on a rotating 24-hour white-black scale with a day/night indicator, 30-minute and 12-hour fly-back counters of a chronograph placed at 6 and 9 o’clock and the second sub-dial at 3 o’clock. The main watch dial features round white enamel hour markers, the only numeral Arab hour markers is 12 o’clock. The window of date is placed between 1 and 2 o’clock.
