Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Chronograph Cermet Case
Jaeger-LeCoultre has been manufacturing watches since 1833. It´s no coincidence that this incredible brand is still on the top brands Worldwide. Most of their success is because of their constant search of innovation.
This incredible timepiece is almost like a master or perfected variation of the amazing Tribute to Deep Sea Chronograph.
The Tribute design differs in several aspects from this one. The Deep Sea Chronograph Cermet offers a 44mm case differing by 3.5mm from the tribute one. The display has been slightly modified with a brand new crisp technique called SuperLumiNova.
The Deep Sea Chronograph Cermet is featuring three beautiful sub dials and an amazing fixed bezel inspired by older models. This bezel in particular rotates in a unidirectional way. The design of this timepiece has an allure to the Omega Speedmaster, thanks to its overall shape and pushers.
The dial in particular is well proportioned and has very symmetrical hour markers and hands. The thirty minute totalizer located at three and the 12 hour totalizer located at nine were also taken from previous models of the brand, but with its own personal design and look.
We should take in consideration that the three counter chronographs was in fact inspired by the Memovox Deep Sea Model from 1959.
The indicator from the chronograph was also inspired by an older classic instrument from 1930 called chronoflight.
This timepiece is powered with a Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 758. It is privileged with an automatic movement that vibrates at 28800 VPH with an impeccable power reserve of 65 hours.
This watch is also privileged with an outstanding number of 47 jewels and has a 10 bar or 100 meters water resistance.
An interesting add-on from JLC is the bracelet made of diver´s fabric. It is privileged with a 20mm pin buckle.
