According to Nina Luna, an artist whose work is currently exhibited at the Milostka Center for Exhibitions at Culturally Arts Collective, a canvas “is the birthplace of creation.” The themes of life, birth, and rebirth come through in each and single one of Luna’s pieces. Her paintings are vibrant and joyful, but what drew her to art in the first place is the complete opposite of that.

Like any contemporary art fair, SCOPE Art Show 2023 has a fair share of artworks aimed to challenge societal norms and prejudice and inspire change. Mixed-media recycled art pieces by the famous street artist and activist Bordalo II definitely fall into that category.
SCOPE Art Show is one of the biggest art fairs in the world. Its first edition was held in New York with only 28 featured galleries, in stark contrast to SCOPE Miami Beach 2023, which exhibits over 150 participants.
