Panerai Green Dial Watches 2017
Last year, Officine Panerai introduced their blue dial collection that almost immediately captured the hearts of luxury watch lovers throughout the world. This year, the renowned Italian watch manufacturer has decided to repeat that success by producing a new series of high-end watches, this time with dark green dials. Such an original combination of colors was chosen for three new models from the Radiomir and Luminor collections, each available exclusively in Panerai boutiques. So what are these new green dial watches?
Panerai Radiomir 1940 3 Days Acciaio (PAM00736)
Inspired by the historic Panerai watches created specifically for the Royal Italian Navy, the new Radiomir 1940 3 Days Acciaio comes in a large 47mm stainless steel case distinguished by its elegant and simple lines. This model features a dark green sandwich dial with beige SuperLuminova hands and hour markers. The date window and small seconds counter are traditionally placed at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively. The luxury watch is equipped with a reliable in-house hand-winding mechanical movement, caliber P.3000, which ensures 3 days of power reserve.
Panerai Radiomir 8 Days Titanio (PAM00735)
One more piece of the new Panerai Radiomir green dial watches is the 8 Days Titanio. Even though this model looks similar to the previous one, it is a bit more sophisticated. First of all, it comes in a 45mm cushion-shaped titanium case with the distinctive for the Radiomir series conical winding crown and strap attachments. Secondly, it features a more complicated Panerai hand-winding mechanical movement, caliber P.2002, which provides an incredible 8-day power reserve. However, the green dial of the 8 Days Titanio is almost the same as that of the stainless steel model, with only slight design changes.
Panerai Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante 8 Days GMT Titanio (PAM00737)
The Luminor variation of the Panerai green dial watches comes in a 44mm titanium case distinguished by a single push-button at 8 o’clock, which controls the chronograph, and a patented bridge lever device at 3 o’clock. Its easy-to-read dark green dial features an additional GMT hand, a minutes counter at 3 o’clock, an am/pm indicator combined with the seconds counter at 9 o’clock, and a linear power reserve indicator at the 6 o’clock position. This model is equipped with an in-house hand-winding mechanical movement, caliber P.2004, which also ensures 8 days of power reserve.
Each model from the new Panerai green dial watches collection is complemented by a brown leather strap with beige stitching, though it can be replaced with a black rubber strap. The novelties are presented in elegant green cherry wood boxes to match their beautiful dials.
