Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Vitesse Watch – A watch that provides six different views
Parmigiani Fleurier is a passionate watchmaker known for the unique creations from its house. Their watches are available in over seventy countries falling in to the five different continents. This Swiss watchmaker ensures that each part of his watches is made at the workshops closely managed by the brand. This helps it to ensure the highest quality in each one of its watches. Bugatti is true royalty among vehicles. When these two join hands for a common cause, you can definitely expect to see something truly unique. In fact, they have been working together for a few years now and have already came up with some stylish creations like the Bugatti Super Sport and Bugatti Type 370. Among these, the former was made of white gold. Now, the watchmaker is coming up with a rose gold version of the watch. Again, they have used titanium to come up with a Bugatti Vitesse model as well.
When Bugatti came up with the new model car Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, the watchmaker was also tweaking around with his prestigious watch collection. The materials used in the watch’s creation and the color shades were changed to make it in to something that belongs to the current times. At the same time, they did not alter the unique shape or mechanism of the collection. The end result of the alteration process is the Bugatti Vitesse in titanium.
How did the watchmaker come up with the name Bugatti Vitesse? It is based on the inspiration gained from the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The finesse of the Bugatti Vitesse is once again underlining the commitment of Parmigiani Fleurier towards watchmaking.
The launching of the Bugatti Vitesse was conducted at Pebble Beach at a function organized for the purpose. It was conducted a few months back. Now, the watch model is going to amaze the countless visitors arriving at Geneva to participate in the SIHH 2013. The dial of the watch is made with Texalium, which is a specially made material with a unique look derived from the 100% pure aluminum layer applied on it. The alligator strap of the watch created by Hermes is quite unique too.
The watch has its case made of titanium, and has a length of 50 mm, a breadth of 36 mm and a thickness of 22 mm. It sports six sapphire crystals to provide six different looks from various sides and angles. On the blue color model, the crown is made of lapis lazuli stone. On the orange model, a carnelian stone is holding the crown’s spot.
The watch is powered by their in house caliber PF372 which is manual winding in nature and has 333 components in it. This perfectly finished watch movement can let the watch run continuously for 10 days at a time.
As mentioned above, the watch is available in two stunning colors; orange and blue.
If you plan to buy this model, it will cost you an amount running into six figures.
