Winning Icons – Rare Rolex Fine Watches to Be Auctioned by Phillips
Next week will be marked by a very important event in the life of all luxury watch collectors. The legendary Rolex Daytona “Paul Newman” owned by Paul Newman himself will be auctioned by Phillips on October 26. The Winning Icons – Legendary Watches of the 20th Century Sale will take place in New York.
It is worth noting that Winning Icons is the first New York-based Phillips auction ever, with previous seasons held in Hong Kong and Geneva. However, featuring 50 exceptional fine watches, it promises to be the most memorable. Among the highlights are extremely rare and very attractive high-end watches by Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Vacheron Constantin, and other renowned luxury watch brands, to say nothing of iconic one-of-a-kind pieces like the mentioned above Paul Newman’s Daytona. The list below is focused on this important luxury watch and several other Rolex fine watches that will be auctioned next week.
