Herstory: The Battle Continues 2025

“Herstory: The Battle Continues 2025” is an upcoming exhibition that will be hosted by the New York gallery Viridian Artists on February 25-March 22 to commemorate the women’s contribution to art and female representation in artwork during Women’s History Month.

Lori Horowitz is among the invited artists whose art objects symbolize the evolution and intricacies of female identity. Her artwork featured in the exhibition is the mixed-media relief “Venus Amongst Her Treasures” – a unique piece created in Lori Horowitz’s signature style with a mix of unconventional materials: aluminum sculpted photo, fabric, paper, wood, fiber, and encaustic wax. The sculpture is a symbolic representation of women’s perseverance and inner strength, dedicated to one of Horowitz’s female friends enduring a decay because of a fatal illness.
