Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Lava Black PVD Steel Watch

Audemars Piguet is one of the oldest Swiss manufacture. It was founded more than hundred years ago, in 1875 in small village of Le Brassus, in the heart of the Swiss region Jura. The first company’s model Grande Complication pocket watch was presented in 1882, since that moment the Audemars Piguet company became the internationally recognized source of the classic watchmaking art. Today watch-masters of company perfectly reinterpret it in new brand’s models – combining with the most modern tastes. The skilled hands of Audemars Piguet’s masters gave birth to the various instruments for time count.

The company may be proud of the Royal Oak Offshore watch collection. It combines dramatic aesthetic solutions and useful functional elements. All the watch models in this collection are characterized by high-tech materials, larger-than-life proportions and components designed to protect movement from magnetic waves. Royal Oak Offshore is the collection combining the modern sport design, the most innovative technologies and traditional Swiss assembly quality.

This Audemars Piguet  Royal Oak Offshore Lava (26200SN.OO.D101.01) is an extremely wrist watch. The company had created only 99 time pieces of this luxury watch model. You shouldn’t confuse this watch with Offshore Volcano which also belongs to the Royal Oak Offshore collection. These models are similar, but they have absolutely different natures.

The case, back plate and bezel of Royal Oak Offshore Lava are all made of a black PVD covered steel. The crown with label is made of stainless steel, while two buttons of chronograph are protected by black rubber. Same material is placed below the bezel to protect the movement and dial. The  strap with orange stitches is made of black alligator leather, it combines with bright orange elements on the dial.

The black and orange dial colors give to this luxury watch a feeling of something sportive. The orange hour, minute and second hands point at big numeral hour markers. Three black chronograph’s sub-dials (12 hour counter, 30 minute counter, subsidiary seconds) are placed at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock respectively. A date window is featured at 3 o’clock. Orange tachymeter scale lays along the edge of the dial. Orange elements provide fine readability – thus they are decoration and function at the same time.

The most acknowledged sport-persons are the same rare humans as this luxury watch model among other watch editions.
