Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 XXL Chrono

We all know how much Girard-Perregaux loves to design watches that look classy, elegant and old school. This Vintage 1945 XXL Chronograph is definitely not an exception. This beautiful timepiece is available in two different versions: the rose gold and steel.

Girard-Perregaux’s timepieces are generally very elegant, but this watch is really out of this world. Its style and its retro design make this timepiece the perfect combination.

Its rectangular alignment makes this watch look beautifully symmetrical. It makes it look well-proportioned and centered.

The rose gold case has 12.77mm of thickness and is privileged with an automatic GP3300 caliber available on an alligator strap or a steel bracelet.

Let’s say if the case is rose gold, the numbers inside will match the case’s color. The same happens with the steel case, the numbers inside will also be in chrome.

The case back is made of sapphire and the mechanism is completely designed, assembled and manufactured at La Chaux de Fonds.

The GP3300 caliber shows its “Haute Horlogerie” at its best and is definitely something that can only be done by having so many years of experience.

Although the Vintage 1945 XXL Chronograph looks classic and old school, don’t be fooled that easily. This timepiece has modern day watch technology plus the expertise of a brand that is constantly renewing itself.

We can mention some nice specifications that this timepiece has to offer. It is 30 meters or 100 feet water resistant, plus it has a sweet forty six hour power reserve. Its caliber beats at 28,000 Vib per hour (4 Hz). The Vintage 1945 XXL Chrono has number of 47 jewels.

In conclusion, we can say that this timepiece is piece of art. It not only resembles the old classic look, but it has the freshness of a modern era watch. Inside this timepiece is a really powerful machine ready to be used.
