Introducing Panerai Blue Dial Watches 2016

Panerai Radiomir 1940 (PAM690)

Blue is the new black! This fashion trend that captured the hearts of all luxury watch lovers several years ago is still at the peak of its popularity, and for a reason. Being elegant and eye-catching at the same time, blue dial watches are much more versatile than their white and black counterparts. It is no wonder that there are so many stunning luxury watch models with blue faces and straps released by the world’s best manufacturers over the past years. 2016 is the year of Officine Panerai. This Italian watchmaking company has recently introduced four limited edition blue dial watches from the famous Luminor and Radiomir collections – PAM688, PAM689, PAM690, and PAM659.

Just like the PAM688, the Luminor 1950 GMT Automatic features hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and the second time zone. However, it is also equipped with a 24-hour indicator that appears at 9 o’clock and a linear power reserve indicator placed at the 6 o’clock position. The Radiomir 1940 is probably the most interesting model among all Panerai new design watches. It’s all about how it perfectly combines the vintage-inspired look with the modern blue dial. Moreover, this beautiful piece of stylish watches for men is also the largest one and comes in a 47mm stainless steel case, the water resistance of which is up to 100 meters. Its metallic blue dial bears luminous hour and minute hands, as well as a small seconds sub-dial traditionally located at 9 o’clock. The model is powered by an in-house hand-winding movement with 3 days of power reserve, caliber P.3000. Limited to 500 copies worldwide, this luxury watch costs $9,200.
