The Top 50 Watch Brands According to Chronolytics

Chrono24 is the most trafficked watch website on the internet, and it’s where millions of people from many different countries go to learn about and shop for watches of all types and brands. Another (related) company, Chronolytics, collects information about the traffic on Chrono24 and gives it to watchmakers and other members of the industry. This helps the various brands gauge the effectiveness of their marketing tactics and it can also help them to understand what the buyers are looking for in a watch. They can also look at more general information, such as which brands are the most popular among watch lovers.

Recently, Chronolytics analyzed search data from Chrono24 to find out which brands are searched for the most, in order to determine which watchmakers are the most popular in different places. Recently, they used this data to create a couple of lists of the most popular watch brands of 2012, one for Europe and one for the US. Rolex, Omega, and Breitling are the top three on both charts, unsurprisingly. While there are some differences in the two charts, they have roughly the same brands on both of them. It’s interesting to see some of the differences between the two. The chart is mostly very predictable, but there are a few smaller brands on there that might come as a surprise, like NOMOS and Sinn, especially on the US side.
