The Audacious Return of Platform 101 to The Wrong Biennale
Platform 101 is an independent, non-profit institution dedicated to glitch art, with numerous achievements and in-depth commitments to video and glitch art advancement in the contemporary art scene. Originating as a video art project, it quickly gained visibility in the digital art sphere, including its recent participation in Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai and an audacious partnership with a Brazilian glitch art project, Glitch.art.br, in 2023. A few months ago, after a brief pause, Platform 101 joined the 2025/26 edition of The Wrong Biennale. The 7th edition of the international art event opened on November 1, 2025, and runs through March 31, 2026.
Platform 101 at The Wrong Biennale 2025/26
A leader in glitch art promotion and digital art development, Platform 101 has grown into a mature, widely recognized project with a unique approach and philosophy. The institution already participated in The Wrong’s 2023/24 edition by presenting “Glitch in the Sacred Geometry” pavilion, which attracted lots of interest among art enthusiasts and experts.
This year’s pavilion, titled “Pattern of Infinity,” is curated by Arezou Ramezani, a London-based artist specializing in video art, glitch aesthetics, and expressive ink painting. Ramezani’s core areas of interest span human memory, emotion, and vulnerability. A holder of two Master’s degrees in Animation, the artist pursues a research-based curatorial approach to foster cross-cultural dialogue through art and emphasize the versatility of multidimensional artistic experiences.
A special focus in “Pattern of Infinity” is made on the delicate progression from micro to macro, with selected artworks illustrating the transformation of tiny elements into cosmic structures. This interplay of natural elements, involving water, fire, earth, and wind, visualizes the magic of the universe’s heartbeat, reinterpreted using video art, generative coding, and AI integrations. This way, the artists amplify human sensory experiences by fusing long-standing natural patterns with high-tech tools and techniques.
